Advancements in mobile technology has opened up new opportunities in business. The marketing practitioners were advised to take firm steps in developing a strategy and move forward against the clock.

A study of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) revealed that the marketing budget for mobile media with the largest percentage increase, 124%, compared with other media.

Jump in the budget is believed to be the size of the mobile market which is believed to be counted five times more than home phones. Other facts are active users of mobile phones exceeds the number of the owner of a toothbrush (5.4 billion vs. 4.2 billion).

According to a survey about mobile lifestyle released by BuzzCity, demand for mobile content is currently the highest in history with digital content most sought-after consumers such as mp3, video, ringtones, games, applications, and also as much as the content of the product information goods and services.

Digital marketing has become mainstream and the presence of traditional web pages are no longer sufficient, especially with the fact the increasing number of consumers who apply to cell phones in their daily lives.

According to recent reports MobileSQUARED'S, Key Developments for Mobile Advertising in 2011, also mentions that a third of the ad agency expects in 2011, 30% of his clients include media campaign cell phone or mobile elements in it.

b. Customer acquisition. Chevrolet to promote the launch of two new car models in India (Beat and Spark) with the campaign through mobile phones, which recommends mobile users to try a test drive and see more product information after first registering their data on a mobile site.

c. Activity Click for Action. Nike held a 'Support India Campaign' to support the Indian cricket team. The mobile users can click the banner animation that will give them the opportunity to post messages to Team India and also share it on their Facebook profiles.
